You're 21 now, so act your age. Not everybody has to change in away that you find acceptable. Especially when you refuse to grow up on your own. Every day's a brand new trend, a brand new look you stole. Now I can't see the person that you were. So how can we know this is for sure? You're so quick to judge and build yourself up while you're tearing others down. Why don't you look into a mirror? Cause I see what you fear. You're the picture-perfect definition of low self-esteem, so you forged yourself an iron shell of insecurities. Maybe you can fool the others, but you can't fool me. You can't stand yourself. I don't lie to my friends, I wish that you could say the same.

This isn't just a classic case of us-vs.-them. This is more than just a struggle over boundary lines. I'm taking a stand, yeah I'm taking the stage for everything I love. Cause I won't just sit idly by as hungry wolves feast upon our blood. Fatten up, suck dry, leave the music to die, your methods are stuck on repeat. Sooner or later, you'll pay your dues. Fucking look me in the eyes. As your integrity shrinks, your pockets swell, your ego's gone out of control. But at the end of the night when the lights go out, money's all you've got to show. I can't escape this fucking town.

A big smile spreads 'cross my face as I watch the winter fade. As the snow and gloom start to fade away. I spent the past four months trapped in sadness and despair, but now I'm ready to shed this skin and breathe the fresh spring air. My old skin has been shed, I've had this time to think, instead, about how I'm going to change my life, how I'm going to move ahead. With a positive mind and heart of love, I've been saying to myself "I'm done with living out this life where I can't dream of something else."
I crush the cigarette with the bottom of my shoe, and I gaze upon on the water. (I think) like the river, I too can keep on running, keep on shining, keep on glistening in the sun. The reflection of the water shows the man that I'll become.
Don't forget, there's a sun behind those clouds.
